Bro. Stephen Pardy, SVD, is a native of Madison, SD and joined the Divine Word Missionaries at Techny in 1956. He spent most of his life overseas, principally in Papa New Guinea, but was also missioned to Rome, England and Australia. He received his BA in Accounting from Loras College in Dubuque, and spent most of his life in administration being appointed Provincial Treasurer in four different countries. Brother Steve was on the Board of Word Publishing in Papua New Guinea for ten years and that stint has been helpful in his present post as Director of Development for Wordnet Productions in California. Bro. Steve sees TV and other Media as powerful tools for the dissemination of the Gospel. These tools provide an exciting opportunity for the apostles of tomorrow to carry on the work of St. Arnold Jansen; "and this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations."
